Très actif depuis le début des années 2000, Junior Tshaka s’est rapidement imposé dans les différentes régions de son pays, démontrant au passage que la langue n’est pas un barrage au partage de la musique. Son premier projet sort en 2005 sous la forme d’un album acoustique à 3 guitares intitulé « Juste un peu de lumière ». Il le présente au public sur la grande scène de Festineuch. Le soir même il remonte sur scène pour un featuring lors du concert de Tiken Jah Fakoly, artiste reggae dont il est un très grand fan. Cette soirée et le retour très positif du public allumeront définitivement une flamme qui ne s’est pas éteinte depuis. L’aventure commence!
En 2007, il joue dans toute la France en première-partie de Riké (Sinsemilia) pour présenter son album « La Jungle », produit par Echo Prod, le label de Mike, l’autre chanteur de Sinsemilia. En 2009, il sort « Il est temps… » (Damp Music) et gagne l’European Reggae Contest organisé par le Rototom Festival d’Udinese (Italie) obtenant ainsi une tournée dans les plus grands festivals reggae d’Europe. A partir de là, il sera lancé dans une course permanente entre sorties d’album et tournées. En 2013, « Boosté par le son » (Echo Prod) rencontre un joli succès avec, entre autres, le morceau « Comme un oiseau ». En 2016, c’est « 360 » (Damp Music) qui lui permet de continuer sur sa lancée. En 2020, il sort « Encore » en auto production totale. L’album voit malheureusement le jour la semaine du lancement des restrictions sanitaires dûes au COVID et l’album ne pourra donc pas être présenté comme il aurait mérité de l’être. En 2023, il présente « Le Bordel », un single inspiré par l’ambiance ressentie durant la pandémie.
En 2025, Junior Tshaka et son équipe fêtent les 20 ans du projet en sortant un nouvel album « Mes propres pas ». Une tournée (avec une nouvelle section cuivres qui apporte une touche supplémentaire au groupe) et plusieurs événements spéciaux ont eu lieu dans une ambiance festive. L’aventure continue en 2026!

Dieser Abend und die sehr positive Resonanz des Publikums entfachen endgültig eine Flamme, die seither nie erloschen ist. Das Abenteuer beginnt!
2007 spielt er in ganz Frankreich im Vorprogramm von Riké (Sinsemilia), um sein Album «La Jungle» vorzustellen, das von Echo Prod produziert wurde – dem Label von Mike, dem anderen Sänger von Sinsemilia. 2009 erscheint «Il est temps…» (Damp Music), und er gewinnt den vom Rototom Festival in Udine (Italien) organisierten European Reggae Contest, was ihm eine Tour durch die grössten Reggae-Festivals Europas beschert. Von da an folgt ein ständiger Rhythmus zwischen Albumveröffentlichungen und Tourneen. 2013 erscheint «Boosté par le son» (Echo Prod) und feiert einen schönen Erfolg, unter anderem mit dem Stück «Comme un oiseau». 2016 ermöglicht ihm «360» (Damp Music), seinen Weg fortzusetzen. 2020 veröffentlicht er «Encore» als komplette Eigenproduktion. Das Album erscheint leider in der Woche, in der aufgrund von COVID die ersten Gesundheitsmassnahmen eingeführt werden, und kann daher nicht so präsentiert werden, wie es verdient hätte. 2023 veröffentlicht er mit «Le Bordel» eine Single, die von der Stimmung während der Pandemie inspiriert ist.
Im Jahr 2025 feiern Junior Tshaka und sein Team das 20-jährige Bestehen des Projekts mit der Veröffentlichung eines neuen Albums, «Mes propres pas».
